GEMSTONE INFORMATION

On June 23, 2023, during the 2023 Jewelry Shanghai, the “China-Thailand Colored Gemstone Reference Price Guide” for the first half of 2023 (hereinafter referred to as “the Guide”) was officially released. The Guide was jointly compiled by four organizations: the Gems and Jade Jewelry Trade Association of China (referred to as “GAC"), the National Gems and Jewelry Testing Co. Ltd. (referred to as "NGTC"), China, the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (referred to as "TGJTA"), and the Gem Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand (referred to as "GJPCT"). It aims to provide market reference prices for the colored gemstone industry, addressing the long-standing lack of transparency and standardized pricing in the global colored gemstone industry, and promoting the industry's scale and standardized development. 

Following the release of the "Guide”, the China-Thailand Colored Gemstone Reference Price System Construction Working Group extensively solicited feedback from representatives of the colored gemstone industry in China and Thailand, and further verified the data's reliability. Currently, the "Guide" data has been widely recognized as closely reflecting the current market situation. It is scheduled to be officially issued to the public on August 07, 2023, on the official websites of GAC, NGTC, TGJTA, GJPCT, as well as the Shanghai Wanbaoshanglian E-Commerce Co., Ltd..
